Unbelievable Experience. Staff and owner were super sweet. The price for what you order is very good aswell. We ate well, and had a great time. Would definitely recommend.
10/10 service and food!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND the prawn tempura and mango sushi and their stir fry noodles!! Absolutely delicious and staff are super friendly! Will definitely be back!
If you're looking for a reasonably-priced eat out in Birmingham for Japanese food Sushi Corner is a great option. I've been to some truly overprices sushi restaurants in Brum. A lot of sushi restaurants tend to give you extremely small portions so we ordered several items off the menu. We now have tomorrow's lunch. The portions are sure to leave you and your wallet full, and they have an extremely diverse menu.We didnt ask for any menu alterations but the waitress (whos name i didnt catch, apologies) made sure to ask us beforehand.Kobocha Pumpkin: good, came in earlier as a starter of sorts and the tonkatsu sauce was nice.Empress Veggie rolls:tasty, not sure what it was wrapped in - not carrot or radish it felt like rice paper? either way a nice change from nori if youre looking for something different.Pumpkin and Tofu bentoMiso soup:surprisingly big bowl very crisp and refreshing (no tofu though)Firecracker cauliflour:Really good - well balanced not greasy at all and not oversauced.Miso aubergine fried strips:Felt a bit greasy (but by this point I'd had about 2 full meals worth of food), couldnt really taste the miso in them (which again may have been because id already had the soup), although they were quite thin stips so may have just absorbed a lot of the oil.Rice:fragrant and fresh on its own which helped balance out the aubergine and cauliflour very well.Fried Gyoza:im not a huge fan of gyoza as i find the steamed kind can have a sticky consistency and the fried kind can feel greasy, but this was not heavy in the slightest.Yasai Goma Wakame salad: the (sesame?) sauce used was nice. Sometimes wakame salads can feel like theyve been artificially sweetened or else feel very mucilaginous but this felt very cool and juicy.I think I would have preferred to have my miso soup come closer to the end of the meal as most of the yasai bento was fried food and it was light enough that it would have helped prevent in inevitable food coma we fell into. The wakame salad came towards the end and was very fresh and cooling but I would have liked to wash it down with the miso instead. Can't really comment on the atmosphere on a regular day as it was raining profusely when we went and anyone with sense would have ordered from home, but were given ample time to look at the menu and our orders were taken as soon as we were ready - no waiting around. Some of the lights are blue for some reason which has had an odd effect on the pictures - didnt think to use flash until quite far into my meal. Will be back again soon to try the rest of the menu hopefully!
Japanese food like sashimi and bento and sushi rools are really authentic and tastyPad thai is tasty and has non-spicy optionStaff are nice and helpfulThe fruit bubble tea is alright, normalThe atmosphere here is good, just a little bit loud, i think.but it depends on the customers not the restaurant.
This was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! Everything, from the exceptional service to the mouthwatering food, exceeded my expectations. The fried sushi was so delicious that I couldn’t resist taking some home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding sushi!
Just grabbed a bubble tea from Sushi Corner the other day — honestly, it was a nice little surprise. The tea was super refreshing, not too sweet, and the tapioca pearls were soft and chewy (in a good way). Didn’t expect a sushi spot to have decent bubble tea, but they pulled it off. Definitely getting it again next time I’m there.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant.sushi and hot food and was delicious The atmosphere was great staff was amazing.Bubble Tea are so flavourful and refreshing which cost only 4.25 for all flavours I would definitely be going again and recommend it to anyone looking for great Sushi and Hot Food.
